Egon Geerardyn successfully defended his thesis in the private defense on June 26, 2016. Final thesis will be available soon, public defense is scheduled on August 26, 2016 at VUB.
We received the 2015 IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology Outstanding Paper Award for our paper Connecting system identification and robust control for next-generation motion control of a wafer stage, Tom Oomen, Robbert van Herpen, Sander Quist, Marc van de Wal, Okko Bosgra, and Maarten Steinbuch, IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 22(1): 102-118, 2014. The award was given at the 2015 Conference on Decision and Control in Osaka, Japan on December 17.
Want to learn how to improve the performance of your system? We still have several seats left for our industrial course on advanced feedforward on November 2-3, 2015, see Advanced Feedforward Control, see also my teaching page for more information
Learn how to improve the performance of your system: a two day course (November 3 and 4, 2014) on the state-of-the-art in iterative learning control, advanced feedforward, and repetitive control with experimental training.
I will be visiting the ERNSI workshop in Nancy, France on September 22-25, 2013, where we have two poster presentations.
